Balloon ride!

Not the kind of balloon ride you were thinking of! I'm in here somewhere. The balloons were for Fred Dixon's (Jan's cousin) memorial in Jan's hometown-Cory. They were released in pairs to commemorate Fred and Fay's life together. Jan had a chance to catch up with relatives from Minnesota, Idaho and various parts of Colorado. We made a quick two day trip, stayed with Bob/Sharon-learned how to play Mexican dominoes with their friends Bob/Sharon, drove home through Montrose, Gunnison, Salida, Woodland Park, Colorado Springs and the back road through Parker. Colorado is really green and the mountains still have snow--a beautiful contrast.

Nice balloons! Glad you both got to enjoy family and friends. Do you remember the Wormalds? They emailed pics of a funnel cloud that was in their neighborhood, I bet it was the same one you posted. Crazy weather! We are glad you are safe! And glad CO is green and beautiful. Jen

We know them very well--spent some time meeting with them on a regular basis. We just got home from a going away picnic for them--they are moving to Powell, Wyo, Tim will be Asst Principle--we are happy for them--they have been wanting to move for some time--as you and Shad know when it is God's plan everything works out. House sold in 3 days.

I knew they were moving back to WY due to a job change for Tim but hadn't heard that their house sold so quickly! Amazing, especially in this economy! Yeah, God's timing is perfect!
