First Official on the deck meal of 2009 season!
Good People--Jan Good Food--homemade burritos with all the trimmings and some good wine. Good Weather--very nice out, just right. I think this was the leaf popping out day as well.
Yum! I talked to Heidi on Sunday and it was very cold. Glad to know it might actually be starting to look like spring in CO! Here in NC the weather just can't seem to decide what to do. We had a weekend in the 80s and then today it was rainy and in the 50s! ugh. Say Hi to Jan for me! Jen

Wisdom of the Native Americans-Nerburn--some truthful sayings and speeches
Ezeikiel-selected by God to tell of Israels destruction because of their sinful ways.

Spirit Woman-Coel, lots of good indian info,mystery
Borderline-Barr, park service in Texas, immigrations issues.
The Summons--Grisham
The Shack--Young, different in his view of God, but Bibically based.
Lamentations--Jeremiah, lamenting about the down fall.
Jeremiah--he wrote it too, warned about idolzing other gods.
The Second Time Around--Clark, good mystery.
World Without End--Follett, a very good read about the 1300's. long 1000+ pages.
The Art of Racing in the Rain-Stein, very good, told from a dogs point of view.
Going Rogue--Sarah Palin, I understand her better, I see where she is coming from. Good book, not too much politics.
Dance of the Thunder Dogs--Kirk Mitchell, very good mystery, mentions Chickasha and my tribe, takes place in Oklahoma
Night and Day-Parker--don't waste your time.
The Seige--Stephen White, good but different from his usual mystery.
The Leisure Seeker--humorous book, we all can relate to travel on Route 66, about old people--odd that he writes about an RV but the book has a picture of a travel trailer.
Charlie Wilson's War--70's true story of CIA, Soviet Union and Afganistan.
The Horse Whisperer--Evans Horses, love, trials and a lesson to LIVE NOW!
Isaiah (means The Lord saves.) The greatest of the writing prophets.
Song of Songs ( a love story--a study Bible is needed to understand )
Ecclesiastes (Solomon lived the good life but realized that without God at the center life had no purpose and it was meaningless)
